image enhancement

Note that the image is muddy, lacks contrast, and isn't particularly sharp. Let's see if we can improve it. Image size is 17.7KB.

Now we've adjusted the input levels to 14 and 210, and set the gamma to 1.24. Note how much the contrast has improved. Image size is 21KB.

We've applied unsharp mask sharpening of about 100%/1/0 (amount, radius, threshold). This makes the image details "pop" in. Image size is 29KB.

Now we'll use the lighting effects filter to add a "sun." Image size is 28KB.

Now let's bevel the edges of the photo. Image size is 28KB.

Next, let's add some text, bevel it, and a drop shadow. Image size is 30KB.
